Mayor Slinkman of Berg en Dal will open the meeting. Dutch Minister of Defense, Ank Bijleveld will be our keynote speaker. Followed by U.S. Consul General Jennifer DeWitt Walsh, and Hubert Bruls, Mayor of Nijmegen. The trans-Atlantic friendship Albany-Nijmegen is highlighted as an example by Anja Adriaans,director FAN foundation. We are very honored to welcome this group of interesting speakers who are adding luster to our anniversary! The program has two short videos, student Juultje in conversation with her grandfather, John Leesberg, who eye witnessed both the destruction of war and the arrival of the relief goods from Albany NY. Students from the Mondial College and Kandinsky College talk about their 2019 trip to Albany.

A packed program with interesting speakers! 
We regret that we cannot invite you in person due to corona restrictions, but thanks to vfonds we arranged a livestream for you to follow the program. The exhibition
The exhibition opens from June 9th, 2021 at the indoor museum of museum park Orientalis. In this exhibition, the stichting Wederopbouwsstad Nijmegen, the Groesbeek Airborne Friends and the Freedom Museum have also made contributions from their collection. The Museumpark Orientalis actually offers 2 exhibits at the moment.
